Madison River in Black and White

There’s something about Yellowstone Park that lends itself to black and white photography. Most likely it’s a combination of the rugged landscapes and dramatic lighting.

I took this shot this morning along the Madison River. After a heatwave of several days in the mid-80s, the temperature dropped today and the wind has really picked up. You can see some stormy clouds forming, but so far no rain.
